Excellent location as it is within walking station from the main train, subway and bus stations. Staff is very friendly, speaks English, gives good directions to attractions and one can buy daily bus pass at the front desk.

The location was great and it was quiet, good proximity to transport and shopping. The room size was bigger than I expected in Japan

This was my third stay at Kyoto Century Hotel - all three for slightly different purposes (business, family holiday and single/solo stay), and I have quickly recommended it to others. Proximity, value for money, size of the rooms, overall facilities and service - Kyoto Century Hotel remains my 'favourite' hotel in Kyoto.

The location of the Century in Kyoto is unbeatable, just steps away from the train station. This made traveling around the city super convenient, especially for day trips. The hotel lobby is beautiful and cute, with an elegant atmosphere that sets a lovely tone for the stay. I loved how spacious and clean my room was, providing ample space to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff greeted me with smiles and were always ready to assist. I also appreciated that there was a 'handy' cell phone available for guest use. The breakfast felt overpriced for the options available. Quality didn't match the premium price, a letdown. The room also had issues with dust accumulation, leading to a less-than super clean environment. Lastly, the sitting area in the lobby could use more comfortable seating to enhance the overall experience.

Well-designed and well-appointed hotel with a top-class staff and a downstairs bar. Excellent location, right next to Kyoto Ramen koji, really enjoyed this place. Located in a great area, next to a bus stop.

The location was excellent, adjacent to the jr Kyoto rail station and the main shops and restaurants in the area. THe rooms were large and comfortable, although becoming a bit tired/old. Staff were very helpful.

We arrived in time for the Christmas lighting ceremony, which was very nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our language issues ( we speak only a little Japanese).
Though the hotel is very modern and nicely appointed I was disappointed there was no wifi available. That's pretty common in Japan, but even the wired lan connection was very old school, requiring the hookup of a modem using a phone line into a jack on the desk. At the least a simpler lan ethernet connection would be helpful. But we liked the hotel otherwise.

The location just next to the Kyoto Station was great. There was a female hotel staff who's always at the lobby area greeting guests, ready to provide help and offer information. It was a joy to see her every morning and she made us feel very well looked after. Our room was comfortable and spacious, we couldn't ask for more.
